How to Bid 

Bidding on an item may be done in one of five ways:

1. Internet: Bidding online is strongly recommended. Our website and auction platform is updated with the latest information.
2. Telephone: We can accept proxy bids by telephone weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM (Eastern). For the closing day of absentee auctions, we accept phone bids until 9 PM (Eastern). Our phone number is (603) 765-8079.
3. Email: Email bids are accepted until 9pm the day of closing, and should be sent to earlyglass@gmail.com. Email bids will be confirmed upon arrival – if you have not received an Email confirmation of your bid, it has not been executed. Email bids must contain all contact information including Name, Address, and Telephone numbers or they will not be accepted.

Your bid protects you up to the amount of your stated bid. Bids cannot be removed once executed.

Michael George, or any employee, will not disclose bids pledged by others; only the current bidding level of a lot will be available.

The highest bidder shall prevail. It is the sole right of the auctioneer to settle any dispute between bidders and to regulate the bidding procedure.
The auctioneer reserves the right to refuse any bid believed not to have been made in good faith.

Each lot in the sale has an estimate based on current value as an intended guide to bidding.

Increments are as follows:

TIMED CLOSING: This auction will close at 10:00 P.M. Eastern on the last day of the sale; however, if there are successful bids on individual items within the last 10 minutes (9:50 – 10:00 P.M.), then the auction will continue for those individual items. For each item that has received bids in the last 10 minutes, the closing of the item is extended until there are no further bids for a continuous 10 minute period. Lots that have no bidding activity in the last 10 minutes will close at 10:00 P.M. Eastern. If you are not available to bid at closing, please make sure you have your highest proxy bid placed. 

Invoices will be sent to the successful high bidders within 48 hours of the auction close.
